The Schedule Reveal panel manages the Schedule Reveal graphic. This is a dedicated scene for a schedule reveal stream that uses the runs and images that'll you'll use during your marathon - this mean's there's no need to create anything new or double up work for your schedule reveal, it's all prepared for you. This page specifically focuses on how the panel works, more information about the graphic's features can be found in the Schedule Reveal Graphic guide.
The panel has two sets of functions:
The four buttons at the top control the run reveal. Well, technically that isn't true. The LEFT, RIGHT, and RESET buttons actually control the speedcontrol Run Player. The Schedule Reveal graphic uses the same Run Player you use during the marathon to control the current game being displayed - and provide the graphic all the information about the runs. This is why little extra work is required to use the schedule reveal.
As is probably self explanatory, LEFT returns to the previous run, RIGHT moves to the next run, and RESET reverts back to the first run. When you first load runs into speedcontrol, or if you reset the Run Player, no run is loaded in the player. When this occurs, the Schedule Reveal Reset button is replaced with a START button - pressing this will prepare the first run.
The final button is the REVEAL button. When a run is first displayed on the graphic, the game cover image and run details are hidden. Clicking REVEAL will flip the game card to reveal the cover art, and the run details will appear below. Clicking REVEAL again will hide it.
If scheduleRevealTimer in the stuk-nodeg.json config file is set to true, the panel and graphic will both display a timer that can be used to time your reveal - this is a fairly popular practice for events. The timer field shows the current time. This can be edited by entering a new time, and then hitting enter.
From left to right the buttons are:
PLAY/PAUSE: start and pause the timer
RESET: stops the timer and resets it back to "00:00:00"
STOP: pauses the timer and displays the timer on the graphic in it's "completed" colour
UNDO: When you click STOP, the timer continues in the background. If you make a mistake and click STOP too early, UNDO will continue the timer at the correct current time.
The Cams area controls the camera spaces at the bottom of the Schedule Reveal layout. The dropdown list controls the number of cams that will appear, ranging from 0-5. The number selected will also produce:
a set of 1-5 buttons adjacent - these buttons work the same way as the Interview Cams panel; clicking one will send a VDO.Ninja push URL to your computer's clipboard, and send the equivalent view URL to the Schedule Reveal graphic. You should paste the link into a new browser tab (or send it to the appropriate presenter) and set up your webcam and microphone on it.
a list of 1-5 input fields - as the schedule reveal is already using speedcontrol to display run information, you can't also use it for the details of your presenters. Instead, enter the information you want to display for each presenter - the first checkbox determines whether the Twitch logo is displayed alongside their name. Once entered, click the numbered button on the end to save and send the edited information to the graphic; this avoids accidental edits. Saved information will persist through NodeCG restarts - unsaved changes will be lost. Click CLEAR ALL to reset all fields to empty, as per the image on the right.
