Speedrun Tools UK (STUK) is a package developed by NickRPGreen (www.nickprgreen.com) to assist with speedrun marathons and collaborative events. It's still in development and doesn't yet have a public release.
This Docs site is designed to walk marathon administrators through setting up the various tools within the package and also hosts various volunteer guides. Use the menu in the top left to find your first guide.
The package includes:
a full NodeCG package including:
11 game layouts
interview, intermission, schedule reveal, video layouts and tools
OBS connection
custom tools for automation when switching runs
omnibar that shows upcoming runs and can connect to Tiltify or GDQ's Tracker
portable stream OBS that pairs with the NodeCG package
portable runner OBS with all layouts prepared
In addition, a selection of planning documents are available to copy on Google Drive:
schedule workbook with linked participation form
submission voting forms
game cover template
Finally, this Docs site includes runner and volunteer guides written specifically for STUK's package:
Host
Runner Setup
Run & Comms
Setup Volunteer
Tech Volunteer
Tech & Setup Combined
The schedule workbook is specifically design to generate custom data fields for use on Oengus (https://oengus.io/), so if you're planning a marathon and wish to use STUK's package, it is highly recommended to arrange submissions there first. Alternatively, run information can also be pulled from the GDQ Tracker, so if you do have the ability to use the GDQ Tracker then this is very useful. Please note, setting up a GDQ Tracker is outside of the scope of this guide.
Whilst a public release isn't available yet, if you are interested in using the package please get in touch (www.nickrpgreen.com).
